/08.04.2013/ During March 21 – April 3, in five districts of Moldova: Falesti, Singerei, Dubasari, Anenii Noi and Ungheni the project “Strengthening public-private partnerships for sustainable development of community services for people with disabilities” was officially launched. This Project is funded by the EU with a total budget of 273,436 Euros and is implemented by the Keystone Association in Moldova.

/04.02.2013/ Busy as a bee, Efimia, a lady from the village of Ciocilteni, Orhei manages to keep a cow, a goat, a pig and different fowl, all by herself. Above that, she is bringing up a boy with an intellectual disability who has returned home from the Boarding house for children (boys) with intellectual difficulties of Orhei. With a large household and about 2 ha of land, she is still often short of money because of too small of a benefit and lack of a steady job.
/04.02.2013/ “No one has ever asked me if I needed anything. You are the only ones who know what we need and care for us!”, exclaimed a father of two children with disabilities living in the village of Bacioi when VIS Community Center representatives came to their house with a donation from the Crossroads organization. They received clothing and hygiene products, but the double bed for the two children was the greatest joy for them.
The project “Public-Private Partnership for the Sustainable Development of Locally Governed Disability Services: Supporting Decentralization Reform” was launched in Chisinau. The project worth EUR 273,436 is funded by the European Union and implemented by Keystone Moldova.

/19.12.2012/ 13 business ideas, all of them developed by persons with intellectual disabilities and their family members within the Small Business Incubator organized by Keystone Moldova with the support of Open Society Foundation / Mental Health Initiative, were presented publicly in early December.
/18.12.2012/ Traditionally, Helping Hand Moldova provides donations for the beneficiaries of Community for All – Moldova Program implemented by Keystone Moldova. This winter persons with disabilities, their families and inhabitants of Community Homes and Supported Living Services created with Keystone Moldova support are getting gifts for the cold season for the third year in a row.
14.12.2012 Ion Radu from Mitoc Community Home, Orhei district, produced a 1 minute video. He submitted this video to the "It's About Ability!" contest organized by UNICEF. The production of the video was supported by Keystone Moldova.
06.12.2012 A regional roundtable was held in Chisinau today, dedicated to identifying and solving the issues of social inclusion of persons with disabilities in Moldova. The conference entitled “Paradigm shift in Moldova – Implementing the UN Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities” was organized by the State Chancellery of the Republic of Moldova jointly with Keystone Human Services International Moldova Association (KHSIMA), the Embassy of France in Moldova and UNICEF country office in Moldova.
05.12.2012 A new social service for persons with disabilities – Respite – was launched in the district of Orhei today. The service is located in the village of Peresecina, Orhei and was established within the district Directorate for Social Assistance and Family Protection with the support of Keystone Human Services International Moldova Association (KHSIMA) as part of its Community for All – Moldova program.

30.11.2012. The fourth photo exhibition “The World As I See IT” started today in the hall of the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family (MLSPF). The pictures displayed at the exhibition were taken by children and young people with intellectual disabilities.

26.11.2012 A late fall afternoon. In a room filled with humming, two hands are working assiduously on a colorful package. They keep encouraging one another, running over, fixing, folding and caressing the package, trying to tame it… In vain – the stubborn material refuses to take the shape the hands are trying to give it. But wait, two other hands – the neighbor’s – come to help. Finally the package gives in, folds the way it should and is quietly put down beside other packages that all share the same fate. On the table, in front of the two hands, there are many multicolor packages folded in various shapes, all to become clutches in the end.

14.06.2012 The Open Society Foundations today welcomed a new regulation approved by the Moldovan government that will reform the system of care for children and adults with disabilities. Regulation HG 351, jointly approved on June 8 by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, will redirect financial resources from long-stay institutions towards community-based programs and services.

01.10.2011 25 trees were planted on Saturday at the „Community Home” in the village Hansca, Ialoveni, on the occasion of the "National Day of Greening the Native Land." Walnut and maple trees, with a value of about 2,500 lei were provided to the „Community Home” service by the local autority for being planted on the 30 acres of land belonging to the service.

/March 30, 2011/ National Mental Health Center (NMHC) was opened in the Republic of Moldova. The new institution will offer assistance necessary for people with mental health problems from Chisinau and regions and will coordinate the activity of those five mental health centers from the country.

This service was established within the “Somato” NGO in partnership with the town hall of the Balti municipality and with the support of the "Community for All - Moldova" project.

The social service “Community Home” is a service alternative to the residential one for people with mental disabilities (psycho-neurological boarding houses and homes for children with mental disabilities).
/October 4, 2010/ Twenty adolescents with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities have learned to photograph and to film within a training held recently in Chisinau. The training was organized by the Joint Media Strategy Group (GMSG) with the Open Society Institute / Health Media Initiative`s financial support having as goal to develop the skills of persons with disabilities and their parents to develop media materials with the purpose of self-representation (self-advocacy).
/September 23,2010/ Today, within the Ialoveni Rayon Council was launched a new social welfare service for persons with disabilities - Mobile Team. This service was established under the Rayon Social Assistance and Family Protection Unit with the support of the "Community for All - Moldova" project, implemented by Keystone Human Services International.
/September 6, 2010/ On July 9, 2010 the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova ratified this international document, so long awaited by people with disabilities, which comes with a new concept of approaching people with disabilities such as: addressing people with disabilities not only through the prism of social protection and health, but primarily through the prism of human rights and social inclusion.
/September 2, 2010/ It became a tradition for children with disabilities on the 1st of September to go the to the school-kindergarten no.120 from the capital. For the 9th year already the school doors are open to ALL children.

/August 9, 2010 /On August 4th, 2010 at 10.30 a.m., the Government of the Republic of Moldova approved the Regulations and Quality Standards of the “Supported Living” service. This is the first community based service for people with developmental disabilities in Moldova regulated by a normative Act.

The announcement was made by the leader of SOMATO Association, Jana Chihai, during a round table where the goals and objectives of a project based on social service provision in Balti, implemented for the first time in Republic of Moldova.
/August 3, 2010/ Children with disabilities from 21 disadvantaged families have received a donation in form of drugs from the Mara Foundation from Netherlands. The medicines in value of 11,853 lei were offered directly to families by a group of students – the Mara Foundation’s volunteers from the Rotterdam University of Medicine.
/August 2, 2010/ The experts in protecting families with children at risk in all raions of the Northern region of Moldova were trained, within a seminar which took place in the July 29-30 period in Balti, how to apply the case management in the social assistance of people with disabilities. This is the second seminar in a series of three regional seminars organized by the “Community for All-Moldova project, in partnership with the Ministry of Social Protection, Family and Child in all three socio-economic regions of the country – the North, the Center and the South.
/July 23, 2010/ A seminar on this topic was organized on July 21-22, 2010 in the town Telenesti by the "Community for All-Moldova” project. The seminar had as objective the prevention of institutionalization of persons with disabilities and promotion of their social inclusion in order to eliminate the practice of institutionalization, a practice that involves a strong segregation character.
/July 10, 2010/ On July 8, 2010 the " Community for All – Moldova” project’s team held a seminar in the village Verejeni, Telenesti rayon, a community seminar on social inclusion of persons with disabilities. This training activity was attended by 21 people: representatives of local government, mayor, local councilors, teachers / educators, librarians, the kindergarten director, social worker and nurse from the community, parents who take care about persons with disabilities.
/July 1, 2010/ 14 members of the service teams created within the "Community for All- Moldova” project participated on 29-30 June, in Chisinau, at the seminar "Educational Inclusion Service – The Role of Educational Support Centers.
/December 2, 2009/ Today, with the same name, in the hall of Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, was opened an exhibition of photographs, realized by seven children and young persons who were recovered from the Home for Children (boys) with Mental Disabilities in Orhei and reintegrated in their family with the support of the Community for All – Moldova Project.
